Consell de l’Esport Escolar de Barcelona has restart school sports working tasks after a grateful summer to offer a great season. Let’s handle together this 2022-23 course which is coming full of fun. All the school sporties, team or individual, soccer or gymnastics, basketball or handball players, swimmers or skaters… Doesn’t matter which discipline you practice! CEEB has come back to the field and is returning in force to celebrate a huge new season plenty of sports. More data coming soon!  Þ

An awards party celebrated at waterfront La Mar Bella sports complex CEEB recognized sports historical figures belonging to this organization Final meeting of this season was celebrated by Consell de l’Esport Escolar de Barcelona as a main tribute to these local personalities that have been a barcelonian school sports landmark during the last decades and those who have passed away because of the pandemic. Last Wednesday the 29th of June, La Mar Bella sports complex held the usual season meeting to close this 2021-2022 edition. Most of all, the main new about this new CEEB dinner is that we have reclaimed presentiality after two years full of difficulties.  Þ Have a good summer and thanks for joining us! It was an awards sports event organized by IBE and CEEB Competició en positiu, Compta fins a 3 and Semàfor de Valors Consell de l’Esport Escolar de Barcelona and Institut Barcelona Esports have celebrated last Tuesday the 14th of June at Poblenou Casino the Esport i Valors party. More than 800 people attended at a multiple award sports event that concentrated three award ceremonies in a single day. CEEB recognized those people and organizations who have promoted school sports values during the last season. Autorities such as CEEBs president Jaume Mora and city sports councilor David Escudé intervened to speak about school sports responsability and commitment. At the end, Planeta Impro theater group closed the party with a good dose of improvised humor.  Þ

La Mar Bella complex held a full of sports, workshops and awards journey CEEB concentrated a closing season multi-sports event in one morning More than 2000 participants enjoyed the first Suma’t journey, celebrated by Consell de l’Esport Escolar de Barcelona last Sunday the 29th of May at La Mar Bella sports complex! Suma’t -an athletics journey developed 5 years ago where families could participate too- has become a great multi-sports event full of team sports matches, an open volley activity, an all ages race, an artistic gymnastics playfull meeting and a play area with some inflatables. At the end, CEEB also took advantatge to celebrate an athletics and gymnastics awards ceremony. Finally, CEEB wants to thanks technics, people and partnerts involvement such as Wala, Aigües de Barcelona, Peras Rincón de Soto, Llet Nostra, Cavall Fort, Plátanos de Canarias, Parc del Tibidabo, Instituts Odontològics, Lexia Sport CIATE, Superacció and the essential drive of Ajuntament de Barcelona and Generalitat de Catalunya because they make CEEB possible.  Þ Photo album (TT Fotos, Sara Macchiavelli)

Besòs riverside park hosts the last school sports cross of this season Hundreds of boys and girls enjoyed this main athletics journey Last cross of this season celebrated at Sant Andreu’s Besòs riverside park. It was a morning sports journey attended by hundreds of children accompanied by their families. This race had the support of CEEB sponsors, Sant Andreu District, Barcelona Atletisme Club and Associació Esportiva Bon Pastor. At the end, a medal ceremony was held for the first classified of each category and they received a bag full of gifts. The final cross party of this season is upcoming next Sunday the 29th of May. This party is called Suma’t and is the first time that we’re celebrating this course closing multi-sport event at CEM La Mar Bella to say goodbye to all CEEB sports people before the summer!  Þ Photo album (TT Fotos, Sara Macchiavelli)

350 school athletes enjoyed the fourth cross of this season It was a course celebrated at Joan Miró Park and adapted to each sports level Last Sunday the 20th of February Joan Miró Park hosted the 12th edition of the Eixample Cross. 350 athletes competed in the fourth athletic challenge of this season. CEEB organized the event with the support of Districte and Associació Esportiva de l’Eixample. Medals were given to the first runners and a bag plenty of gifts -CEEBs collaborators courtesy- to each participant. Next CEEBs cross starts on Sunday the 13th of March at Barceloneta Park.
